That Made My Evenin’

One night I went to the lake and spent time there. I wasn’t in a good mood and was just walking around. That night the moon was orange and HUGE. I noticed it as it was just above a few buildings. I noticed that everyone around weren’t noticing or observing. I thought I could go around and tell people to have a look at the moon. I tried my best to not be shy and walk up to people and talk to them, but it just wouldn’t come from within. Then I saw a man who had his head bent and just sat at the benches for very long. I walked up to him and asked him:

“Aap ko mai ek minute ke liye disturb kar sakta hoon?”
“Kyun kya hua?”
“Aapne chand aakhri baar kab dekha?”
“??”
“Aaj chand ko dekhiye, bahut aacha lag raha hai!”

That man smiled at me after he saw the moon. Without saying another word I left the place. While leaving that area I looked back at him and saw him still smiling at me. I forgot that I was sad and went back to Amit’s place smiling. That experience made my evening!
